Your little one’s food doesn’t have to be bland! Liven up your baby’s food and expand their palate with these 4 spices 👇🍲

1️⃣Cumin - breast milk or iron-fortified formula gives babies adequate iron stores up to 6 months of age. After 6 months, their iron stores need to be maintained through diet. Cumin is a solid non-heme (plant based) source of iron that can make for a flavourful and healthy addition to their meals.

2️⃣Turmeric - is a great addition to your little one’s diet to aid in the production of bile, smoothen the process of digestion and relieve bloating.

3️⃣Cinnamon - carries a host of nutritional benefits like fibre, calcium, iron, manganese and vitamin K which are essential vitamins and minerals for a healthy, growing baby.

4️⃣Saffron - is great because while it clears toxins from the stomach and works as a gastric tonic, it also helps to boost absorption of calcium which aids in the development of bones.

❗️It is important to note that although these herbs and spices can benefit your little one in many ways, they are not suitable for babies younger than 6 months old. Always remember to start with only very small amounts to begin!

Baked Mozzarella Mafalde Pasta 🍝 YUM in my tum ✨

This dish was inspired by @juliusroberts beautiful Mozzarella Diavolo 🔥 Honestly couldn’t resist trying out baked mozzarella after seeing his video 😮‍💨

Ingredients:
(Serves two)
1 red onion, sliced
2 garlic cloves, sliced
1 tbsp olive oil
Pinch salt
Pepper to season
A big handful of cherry tomatoes
2 tsp balsamic vinegar
1 tsp sugar
10 fresh basil leaves
1 chunky ball of mozzarella
150g Mafalde pasta (or linguine would work too) 🍝

Method:
1. Drizzle your oil into a pan and add in your onion and garlic. Fry on medium heat for 5 minutes.
2. Preheat your oven to 180C fan.
3. Add in your salt, pepper, tomatoes, balsamic vinegar, and sugar. Cook for 15 minutes stirring regularly.
4. Pick some fresh basil leaves and toss them into your mixture. Transfer to an oven proof dish, tuck in your mozzarella ball, drizzle with a bit more oil, and bake for 10-15 minutes.
5. Meanwhile, cook your pasta to packet instructions in salted water.
6. Remove your baked tomato mozzarella from the oven, drain your pasta, mix it all up together and enjoy!

INGREDIENTI x4pax
-350g di datterino rosso
-1spicchio di aglio
-basilico abbondante
-80g di parmigiano
.
PROCEDIMENTO 🥣
-tagli a metà i datterini
-in una padella fai un soffritto di aglio e basilico
-aggiungi i datterini in padella e fai cuocere per 5-6 minuti e fiamma lenta
-scola la pasta al dente e ultima la cottura insieme ai pomodorini aiutati con acqua di cottura per ultimare la cottura
-a fuoco spento manteca con parmigiano e basilico
-impiatta
-CHE CREMA
-BUON APPETITO 😋 🤩
